I haven't done any playing or hold design for some time, and today I tried to create some playable content. This is a hold with four puzzle rooms. I don't know if the common idea behind them has already been explored in some hold I have not played. Be as it may, I post it to get feedback.

This may become part of a larger project if I get more inspiration and manage to sustain the creative process. It may also remain an unsubmitted curiosity, free for people to use for inspiration. We'll see how it goes. Owing to not doing much DROD lately, I wanted to start small.

Attached is the latest revision. I have verified that I can solve all the rooms. There are no decorations, but I put some filler text into the usual places to make it look like a complete hold.

Please give it a try.

1W - well, I did use both timeclone and a mirror, but the solution is kind of similar to what I described for 1S and 1E. Idk why so many brains though.

Thanks, mxvladi! I forgot this part of hold creation where I have to think of what people will actually do in the room. It's helpful to see it happen.

There is a new attachment in the initial post. The filename has the date of the revision.

I made changes to all rooms. I added a lot of green doors to prevent early escape, and made some cosmetic changes to the door shapes. I added new checkpoints.

1W: removed some brains. A few are meant to be red herrings.
1E: fixed the right side eyes to do what they are meant to do

and moved the south doors up a bit.

(1E used briar in the first iteration, hence the hot tiles)

new 1N: time token isn't needed either (but it's becoming trickier to pull off)

new 1S: also 1 time token needed but much trickier

new 1E: 2 time tokens

new 1W - I think I'm doing what you want me to do now.

for 1N and 1S it's really hard to describe what I'm doing at this point so I'll just go ahead and throw in some demos.

Thanks for the demos. I'll take some time to think about these situations now before posting a revision.

Added later: I'm not having fun designing puzzles like this. I will leave this in the current unfinished state, and encourage anyone to borrow the idea if they can use it in an interesting way.
