I'm getting towards (i think) the end of tss, on the final (i think) puzzle in the transit station. But now whenever I try to load the game, and continue playing, the entire program stops responding. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't seem to help. Any ideas why it might be freezing? and what I can do so i can finish the game?

It's a known issue. The nonograms in LCS are pretty script-intensive, especially the larger puzzles which makes the game take a lot of time to restore back to the point you left. The best thing to is to give the game 10 minutes which should hopefully be enough for it to restore the state.

The reason for the freeze is that the game only remembers the moves you've made until the point you left the game, so whenever you go back to it, DROD loads the room from the beginning and silently replays all the moves to get back to that room state. And since the scripting is intensive it takes a lot of time.

The best workaround is to solve the nonograms in one go, avoid using checkpoints, undoing and restoring to these rooms.

TYVM!!!!! That did the trick. I waited for it to load, managed to restore the room to the entrance, solved it on paper, then went in and did it in as few moves as possible. onward.
