The first time I offer an item to Eitri, he seals his door, and I get new dialogue options. I know that



but if I offer a second item to Eitri while the door is still sealed, it reverts back to the usual dialogue options, so I'm pretty sure that that's a dead end and a bug.

So, if you have both for Eitri, make sure you give him one item, talk to him until he reopens the door, and then give him the other item.

I already reported this.

There's a non-dialogue solution that will bring the door back, though. So it's not a dead end, but it does affect scores if you can't use dialogue with some classes.
