Hi! I need some help solving the library puzzle - I can't find any codes or anything to help decipher the note. Also, should I do that before I sleep overnight at the inn? Or after the thief visits me? Thanks!

Use Note On <library category>

So for the indecipherable note, you'd want the one on cryptography I think, or something related to decoding. Then you'll have to find another section, and so on. You can use the index at the front of the library to make it easier to find the relevant sections.

Alternately, this is a puzzle you can brute-force by rubbing the note against everything in the library and eventually hitting the right spots. But it's more satisfying to solve by using the index to figure out what you need.
