I’ve just bought GatEB (finally!), and I’ve also noticed one problem.

BMT Micro has this checkbox, “Purchase is for someone else.” It basically lets you enter two separate email addresses: one for the person who pays, the other for the person who gets the purchased item. Naturally, the order information gets sent to the former, whereas the download links get sent to the latter.

However, there’s one more message sent if you buy a DROD game: the one with the CaravelNet link. The thing is, it’s sent to the first address and not to the one that receives the download links, which doesn’t seem right.

So, I guess, something should be done about it.

(It hasn’t been mentioned, has it?)

Schik might be able to do something about this, but I'm not sure. For now, a simple workaround to this issue is to forward the registration e-mail to the person you're gifting the game to.
