Thats what I meant, In that Speech program in control panel the voice you used was LH Michael (Just realised it was LH not MS). There's heaps of those, I've got Microsoft Sam (obviously, my voice was chosen for windows), LH Michael and LH Michele.

Yes but wubba's wouldn't have been considered monsters on this occasion because they cannot attack.

Samuel, i used Cepstral voice system. Never thought they'd steal voices from Microsoft.

Hmm... Maybe they got permission? I'll see what I can dig up.
EDIT: Which voice on Cepstral did you use?

So, one thing, ketchup on pizza :yucky

Secondly, are you missing a script command in the first level, I see no way to get through the doors.

If you're talking about Grob's fortress, there is a script which opens the yellow doors after you complete both contest entries.

Nope, talking about First Level 1S.

Oh - looks like last three levels in Pizza Grounds have "set player sword off" script and there's no "set player sword on" command in Grob's fortress, so sword never returns to player. I've solved lopsidation's entry first so it's not surprising that it worked fine for me. 13th Slayer, please fix it - add "set player sword on" command in Grob's fortress.

Ah, I got it now.

Also, is first level 5S supposed to have that trivial solution?

I don't think so. It seems that 5S also works without mimic potion...

5S 1E also seems to have trivial solution, since I only used tunnels once.

Wow, even with all its unintended solutions, lopsidation's entry is very cool. I'm glad it's going in a compilation so more people will see it.

However... even for compilations, it's important to have your hold beta tested before submitting it to HA. The missing "set player sword on" script not only makes lopsidation's entry impossible if you play it after the pizza, it also makes the first secret room in Grob's fortress (1E) impossible. That's how I know that nobody has played though this hold.

Since some of the rooms in lopsidation's entry First Level are intentionally impossible (but sometimes unintentionally solvable), it looks like marking nonhighscorable rooms is going to be tricky tricky tricky!

I could use some extra help from clever players who like to break holds. So far in First Level, I've solved:
wubbas: 3S1E, 4S1E, 5S1E (US, don't need tunnels)
fegundos: 4S (trivial US), 5S (trivial US)
mimics: 6S1W
What rooms have you guys solved?

Also Grob's fortress 1E has a US: you can rotate your sword as much as you want. Sorry, can't post a demo, as I had to play this room in the editor.

Fegundos 6S is also possible. It's based on a really clever trick. ;)

Ah, you're right, good catch! Too bad people going for highscores won't have to solve it efficiently. Just reenter from the south.

Also, I've now managed to solve mimics 3S1W and 4S1W.
EDIT: and mimics 5S1W

So now there are two unsolved rooms on this level.
Has anyone managed fegundos 3S (I can come within one move) or wubbas 6S1E?

If he doesn't come back and fix this hold in the next couple of days, this hold will be rejected. Which will be too bad, because there's some nice stuff in here. :(

Fegundoes 3S: Agh, stupid lopsidation is stupid. Removing the wall at (12,9) should make the final move possible.
Wubbas 6S: This one is difficult.

Thanks for the new version, 13th Slayer. :)

I recommend making lopsidation's change to First Level 3S, so that this room becomes solvable.
I also recommend adding a couple checkpoints to Grob's fortress: The Entrance, and also to the secret rooms, if desired.
Here is a demo of an unintended solution to Grob's fortress 1E.

Thanks for the help with First Level 6S1E, lopsidation, I've done it now. :)

It was intended. I don't see any other solution actually. Mxvladi added decoys as a trick :D nobody needs em. He told me so.

You can stop me from rotating my sword by blocking my exit to the east. Currently, rotating my sword blocks the western door. But I can't use the western exit anyway, because of the force arrow.

If you fix it, please double check that that the room is solvable before uploading a new version.

Well, i wouldn't say this needs fixing really. Room works.
And Mxvladi asked for removal. Been done.

Well, I wouldn't say the room "works". It was solvable, for sure. But mxvladi didn't want me to turn my sword, and I could do that all I wanted. The puzzle was broken. I think the room was fixable, but it's fine to remove it as well.

The way you removed it was not fine. My suggestion to keep the other secret room accessible is:
* Leave the original Grob's fortress 2E in 2E.
* Replace Grob's fortress 1E with a blank unrequired room.
* Make a simple path through 1E that connects the Entrance with the entrance and exit of 2E. In 1E, use an E force arrow to show me the way to the entrance of 2E, and a W force arrow to indicate the exit.

Per request, here is an Anyone Edit version of the No-monster hold compilation.

I also took the liberty of changing the Grob's fortress level (as described in my previous post) to make this hold conquerable and masterable. There is also a new checkpoint in Grob's fortress : The Entrance to facilitate testing. Obviously, this is 13th Slayer's hold, and my changes do not need to stay. But the hold does need to remain conquerable and masterable.

This hold has the same Hold ID as the original version 13th Slayer posted, so it imports as an update rather than as a new hold.

Thank you very much. You decreased the work i need to do to 3 steps:
1)Change edit-rights.
2)Upload new hold to HA's
3)Upload new hold to architecture thread.
