Usually owners of catacombs engage delvers to clear the catacombs they own, but one of imperial citizens was really strange... and he engaged a stalwart to clear the catacombs... However, that strange imperial citizen didn't tell the stalwart that this dungeon was used by Empire for developing intelligence of adders, aumtliches and of making fegundo control system beter. Also, a long time ago King Dugan used it to train goblins there.

Thanks to CuriousShyRabbit for testing the hold.

Here's a short set of quite enjoyable puzzles from mxvladi.

There are four paths here, leading to aumtlich, fegundo, adder, and goblin puzzles. Along each path, each puzzle uses a very different trick from the one before, but generally focused on the fine manipulation of each type of monster. The puzzles were just the right length for me, meaty enough to showcase the idea but not so long as to become tedious. Very nice effort, mxvladi! :)

Once the player chooses a path, force arrows and doors force the player to solve all the puzzles on the path before returning to the hub room and choosing another path. This didn't bother me, but may be a disadvantage for less experienced players.

Nice hold mxv.

I found the rooms to be pretty difficult. As mentioned by the Rabbit, a more open layout might have helped.

I'm enjoying this hold, but the signposts don't say anything for me after I leave and re-enter their rooms.

This is another small mxvladi hold. There are 4 sets of puzzles involving goblins, aumtlich, fegundos and adders. Most of the rooms are fairly straightforward - some of the adder rooms seemed larrymurk-esque in their design but were slightly easier than some of larry's harder offerings. My pesonal favourites were the aumtlich rooms.

I would rate this slighty higher than 46-th Slayer adventure (the most recent mxvladi hold I played) as despite the lack of story, I found it more enjoyable.

My Verdict:

Difficulty: 5.5
Fun: 7
