I'm trying to post a question about a secret room on the Hints and Solutions board, but I can't find the "new Topic" link.
I've also used the search function to find any previous posts about this room, but nothing came up.

I typed the following topic into the forum search function:

Journey to Rooted Hold : Sixth Level : 4 North, 1 East

and found 3 threads for the room you are looking for. When using the forum search, you must type the topic in EXACTLY the format I used. Try copying and pasting my text into the topic box in search.

The correct format is always:
hold space colon space level space colon space room

In all honesty, I wouldn't have realised that was the correct format (as I always use the abbreviated location as mncrafty did).

If progress is stored server-side, it would be good to be able to bring up hints for secret rooms by way of checking explored rooms. Probably a feature request, but still... I learnt something today and don't think new players/lurkers ought to have to do the same.

The problem, of course, is that progress is only stored server-side for people with Caravelnet subscriptions. And for those people, it already works that way.

Tuttle's idea is designed to get around this problem, but it also allows people to use the H&S board to find secrets, which Schik objected to.
