Two questions here.

First, I remember reading somewhere about importing levels from outside your hold. How is this done?

Secondly, is there a way to move a level up or down the level list? This would be very useful for me, as I have some late levels of my dungeon planned out, but I'm currently delayed from making them because I don't want the level list to seem out of order.

You import it normally, select the level, and copy/paste it.

I am not sure if there is a way, but I agree that is would be very helpful.

Alright, so what if I copy a level from my hold, then paste it back again? If I do this with the levels in the order I want them, then reorganize the exits to point where they're supposed to, would this work?

You know, there have been some bugs recently that might be associated with copying entire levels...something with the stairways pointing to very strange places. And even possibly the problem with the end stairs not ending the hold. So, make sure you make backups and whatnot...which I seem to recall you said you always do anyway. Just be forewarned.

Game on,

I had to copy four levels of Deep Hold when I lost my data, and nothing bad happened.

It's definitely a good idea. I'm gonna put this into my 1.7 to-do list.

Here's a silly question... How do I copy and paste the room or level? I don't see any buttons for it, and Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V don't seem to work.

Make sure the map/room or level name in the level list has focus (i.e. is the currently selected object on the screen).

Cool, I got it now. Though I'd like to see some sort of confirmation text for having copied the data to the clipboard...
