OK first post.
I've been staring at this room now for (sigh) too long.
I can get myself on a corner force arrow.
I can get the goblin on a corner force arrow.
But getting him to go into the snake pit ... am I missing something here?
Any and all help appreciated.

And remember that approaching said goblin without your sword pointing at said goblin makes the said goblin move in the opposite direction to said sword.
