Hello! I have played a demo of this game some years ago, and recently I downloaded DROD AE, and now I want to download DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold, but I need to buy it.

How can I pay this game without a credit card? I'm 16, and my parents don't let me to use their cards. In adittion, I'm spanish, so I don't think that I can buy the game here in my country...

Help me!

Don't worry, I don't think anybody can buy DROD in a shop... barring a very special job that specialises on imported goods, that is.

You might wish to give Paypal a try if you do have a banking account. It may not work, however (near as I can tell, French law does not allow to put money on a Paypal account from a bank account). There has also been talk about dispensable credit cards that could be purchased in stores and funded with plain euros; that solution seems the most likely to work, if there is any such thing around in Spain.

That aside, there is always the "bug a friend" approach, or the casual "send money straight to the US" (not the best approach to the problem)... or you could try to manipulate someone around here.

Note that the basic game (that is, the engine) can be downloaded freely, and you can use it to play the holds available around here. You will not have access to most of Rooted Hold, of course, and you will only have some of the media files; still, it may be a solution for you.

Good luck. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you... which reminds me my CaravelNet subscription is running out. Bleh.

well firstly, just pretend that you are going to buy it. don't worry, you can't lose any money this way, but you can discover all the options.

so by either hitting the buy now button in the jtrh demo, or going to the site and hitting the buy now button, head towards the checkout.

you will find that it has a drop down option menu, which include credit card among other things.

feel free to check out all the options, unless you manage to input a real credit card, theres nothing you can do that can affect anyone.

if none of those options suit you, you can always talk to Erik, who can help you find a solution.

It might also be a good idea, if you haven't already, to find out why you parents are reluctant to use their credit card.
