When playing the spiral hold I noticed something odd about goblins. They don't move what I would think consistantly. I made a 1 room hold that demonstrates this. Just keep the sword pointing west and head at the goblin. Is this the way goblins are meant to be?

Goblins do act consistently - they'll always act the same in the same situation. However, DROD itself is not symmetrical - all monsters exhibit different preferrences to moving up as opposed to down and left as opposed to right.

I've included a one-room demo hold to show how roaches also act differently in seemingly similar situations. Simply move onto one of the two scrolls and try fighting off the roaches without moving.
