I need a few beta testers to test my new hold. If you are interested, just send me a PM and I will happily give you a copy of the hold. 'Tis only a demo at the moment, but the scripting took me ages to do. If you could either send me a PM or a normal message to tell me about your thoughts, then I can use them to improve and keep you, the players, happy. Anyway, just send me a PM for beta testing.

Peons don't really tend to have the funds required to build a dungeon, or pay someone to clear it out for them.

Pretty good. Here's some bugs and comments.

The hardest room in the whole hold so far is the first room. Six guards and that many roaches with no place to hide. Cruel. :no

Lower Level Quince North Once East: If your in the bigger hallway, and you go south, you get stuck, no way to get out. To rectify this, I would put an arrow making sure you don't go south.

Lower Level's stairs end the hold.

There are to many places to count where you forget to place an end in the scripting. That means that if you re-enter the room, the scripting starts again.

I see remarkable similarities between your hold and my hold. Well, at least two. A cameo place, and a helpful slayer! Those ideas have been in my head too! Are you perchance a mindreader? :lol

I really like the arena idea, I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" it for my hold? O:-

Wasi it really that hard? I had no idea. I just thought of going to the wall and waiting for the guards to try and move to the side and then attack.

I just thought the slayer was a good assistant. As for the cameo bit, there's a bit involving the union of the leaders of The Eighth

Very important thing for rooms with scripting: Please use the "End" command, or your hold is going to seem very unprofessional. This is the problem is just about every single room. When you re-enter, the speech and all else plays again, making absolutely no sense. I don't list these specifically, because it would take way too much unnecessary space.

Additional bugs:

Castle Entrance:
1N: If you enter the room in the third tile from left, the Negotiator will not appear and you can't get past the door. Use the "appear at" command instead of placing the Negotiator at the entrance.

Castle - Ground Floor:
2N1E: Nothing prevents you from exiting the room once the Slayer steps away from the door at the top. I also don't think it's a good idea to fight against him on an empty battlefiled, because he can't be killed without tricky movement patterns, which shouldn't be used in any hold in my opinion. Dodging the Slayer is extremely easy to do too.
2N: Why IS Halph in the room? You don't need him for anything. And his appearance doesn't make much sense story-wise. He "just is there"?
2N1W: Halph never appears in the room, because you start at the same tile as his character. Use the "appear at" command instead of placing Halph at the entrance.

Lower Floor:
2N: It's possible to leave the room to the north without killing all guards. It's also possible to ignore the Slayer and kill all guards yourself. Finally, if you enter the room through the right-side tile at the bottom, the Slayer doesn't appear. (reason mentioned before a couple of times)
4N1W: Easiest riddle ever to crack. Just click the orbs.
4N1E: Enter from the NE-Entrance -> You're trapped. Perhaps the arrow is pointing to the wrong direction.
3N1E: Yay for logic. Why doesn't the Slayer kill the goblin immediately? I don't see how Beethro hitting the orb helps with that. In addition, it's not necessary to free the Slayer at all to proceed ahead.
6N: The same old Character-in-the-room-entrance bug.

Lower-Mid Floor:
The Entrance: The characters do have "End" commands, but if you walk straight up, you'll exit the room before the end command plays meaning that the characters still reappear when you come back.
1N: The same old character-in-the-room-entrance bug. If you don't stand in the middle, all of the roaches won't die.

Okay, delete your saves for my hold, I've remade it. I've fixed what I think to be all of the bugs. I've also re-made some of the rubbish levels, like the Omega guard formation room. I've also changed it so the story makes a little more sense. Look out for the new style warp room. It'll be on here soon.

okay, here it is. KPVIIID is back. It's got a few mods on it, and another level. Again, it's not completed yet, but any MODs or extra challenges for the game, tell me and I will happily include them.

edit:okay, the stair problem has been fixed, it should end at the mid-upper floor, because I've only just started on the upper floor. It'll be a Metal Gear Solid-esque area. :guns
