I heard about
Omikron 2 the other night, and I am looking forward to that one. I guess the thing that I liked about the first
Omikron is that it felt like a real fully populated place. You'd think I'd be into MMORPGs that actually have a huge bunch of actual human beings moving around in them, but it isn't the same. Gamers disrupt and cheesify the atmosphere and don't allow a convincing story to unfold. A huge place full of NPCs that fit the mood can be more involving.
I also need to catch up with the Quantic Dream guys and check out
Fahrenheit. I read Matt's mini-review and it sounded pretty interesting.
