Well, I hate to say it, but don't get your hopes up. The first choices for beta testing are always those who participated in previous beta tests. Once we've gone through all of those people, if we still need more testing, then we'll recruit more active forumites. Of course, since some of the people who beta-tested last time are no longer regulars on the forum, there will probably be open spaces at some point. It all depends on how many free copies the people who are making money off this game (and I ain't really one of 'em) are willing to give away.

Didn't anyone tell you? The Bar is counting down to when alpha testing starts. Then we'll have another Bar that counts down to beta testing, and then finally a Bar that counts down until release. We realize that people enjoy clicking the Bar so much, we just want to give them more and more!

I thought this was just the bar that says how long we have until the developers stopped playing Unreal Tournament 2004 rounds against each other to decide on features that will go into the next release.
