I was intrigued by the site correlated with our board's newest one-room hold, and I set up an account for the forum. These puzzles are demolishing me alone, but I'm sure our combined wit will see us through them. Join me!

Team Name: The Smitemasters

This looks fun. I can't seem to get anywhere with these puzzles though. :w00t They are incredibly difficult.

Ooh, puzzles. Just what I need.

'Blankets' seems easy enough to crack.

Also: the notes pages seem to be either highly messed up or communal.

the problem to me is that i don't understand the goals of this puzzles. i suggest this is because i'm not a native english speaker. and i think it's a little bit easier when you are from the united states...

so i can't help much :(

but however: have fun with the riddles!

I've had a thought: we know one puzzle is going to be about DROD, right? So, perhaps, we shouldn't advertise our presence too heavily until we know if the DROD puzzle leads them right here.

Especially since I've just challenged the players of Puzzle Pirates to a puzzly duel.

Frankly, I can't figure out any of what I'm supposed to do, and I'm a native English speaker, so.

There's a couple of puzzles that have been mostly cracked - there's one under Big TV, I think, where Schik got most of the answers and I sort of worked out a possible order. You could try that, play around with the puzzle, make connections, see if you can discover something, a word or phrase that might lead to the answer.

Also, you could try looking at the already cracked puzzles in green, where the solver has noted how to solve the puzzle. Gives you an idea of what you're up against.

Hmm, I don't know if those lazy Puzzle Pirates are going to get anything off the ground.

If they fail to mount a challenge, think we could get them to join our team?

Hey, this is the author of the Puzzle Boat. I've just posted the errata file on the main page, but I wanted to let you know that Roger's Puzzle does contain a duplicate figure. Figure 3 was a duplicate of figure 1. I've corrected the file.

Good luck guys! Amazing progress so far.

...did I miscount? Are there seriously 396 puzzles? Because I can't even figure out the first one completely yet. Good news, is that this will keep me entertained for a loooooong while.

Gbrume, you are pretty much my hero for the week. Awesome work!

Hmm. The funny thing is, I never even notice I was doing the same one for cube 1 and 3. Oh well.

I can't seem to fold up the new cube 3 completely, it seems to get very messy, but I've updated the above pic with all the relevant parts, at least.

Somebody please finish off Table 22 for me. I set it all up, just knock it down. I'm dying to see what the answer is.

From the site:
A big thanks to the three people who test-solved these puzzles, Tablesaw,...
The Tablesaw? What a coincidence...

Okay, okay. No cheating by getting solutions from the testers.

Anybody making any headway on the "find residents of the island" feature? I bet that's the key to unloking a ton of puzzles, since some of the teams who have fewer solved puzzles than us have more unlocked.

Anyhow, woot to second place! I have a feeling that the leader is a tester or developer.

A friend of mine heard about this game and wanted to join in - so if you see any notes signed by 'Indeed', don't worry, she's with me.

I'll see if I can rope her into DROD using the DROD puzzle coming up.

This has got to be like the third time we've set off to play an online game and the creators have specifically come into our thread to talk about it.

God, it's much more than three. Half the stuff we talk about, someone from the topic at hand turns up to have a chat.

We should formalise it by giving it a name. Perhaps something using brains and how it always seems to guide people to DROD.net or something.

It's pretty hard to go past "divining drod" for our weird ability to attract people.
