A Collection of Constant Room Templates : Repetition : 3 North (0)

Henri has me stumped. How does one kill the roach at the north that I marked 1?

Either my assumptions are wrong or there's something else I'm missing.

I'm assuming:

1. You must take the invisibility potion immediately.

2. You can not put the mimic near the roach (it must be used on the snake at once).

3. You must "lure" the roach by standing at its entrance and having a brain see you. Problem being I am invisible and there are no brains near this spot.

Don't blame me (

), but a patch that broke the original easier solution. I'm not seeing this myself at all.

1. I must put the mimic next to the roach at 1, because I can't get it out in any way.
2. After taking the mimic potion, there are no places to go into without getting seen by a brain. -> The roach in the lower left corner will move into the force arrow trap.
3. I can't kill the brain in the northeast or drop the trapdoors without leaving the mimic trapped. After which I can't kill the roach in the lower-left corner.

What am I doing wrong...?

Got it. It's hard to see something like that when you assume that everything in the room is working properly after you built it yourself.

So how does one kill the roach once it enters the trap if you don't have a mimic?

EDIT: Who's the biggest idiot in the whole wide world? It's not me, but I'm getting there! Room solved!

Stuck here (

My first thought about rouch in pos. 1 was:

- Clear all, except "plus" section with brain and 4 roaches.
- Enter the "plus" section and wait for the roach from pos. 1. But it can't find path through arrows, I think.

Next thought was:
- Place mimic to roach in pos. 1
- But when I run from sneak, brain "see" me and roach in SW corner stuck in arrows.

So, should I place mimic to roach in pos. 1? If so, how to kill roach in SW corner?

Or should I place mimic in some other position? If so, how to kill roach in pos. 1?
