I can\'t recall any room where that was needed, so is it possible to change this so that if they can\'t move diagonally, they don\'t move at all?
Generally, we try to keep the behaviour of game elements the same.
If we change the way mimics work, then somebody (probably Clayton
) has to replay all the rooms with mimics again to make sure they can still be solved.
And then there is the problem of people being used to things working a certain way. Being able to predict what happens after you press the key is fundamental to the game. I don\'t like to invalidate people\'s hard-earned DROD intuition.
There are probably going to be a few exceptions to the no-change principle in future releases, but I\'m biased against changing existing elements.
