I'm on level 16 of JtRH in 2N 1E and every time I finish it and leave the room DROD justs shuts down! Getting fed up of doing this room over again Is this a bug or is it just my computer?

The same thing happens to me in that room (not always, though), but it usually happens when I restart. It also crashes whenever I select the attached demo.

Just before the crash (segfault), JtRH spits out an assertion error:

DROD:Assertion error in line 1813 of ../../DRODLib/DbRooms.cpp: "pMonster->bAlive"

This room just crashed for me when I hit restart. My Drod.err file line is identical to Stefan's. I was, however, able to succesfully play demos; both mine and Stefan's.

FWIW, I originally played this room multiple times on April 28 with no problem. My patch level was up to date for the time. Currently I'm playing with 2.08.

Yes, this is a bug. It occurs when you place a mimic/decoy so that its sword kills a rattlesnake right when it is placed. This will be fixed in 2.0.9.
