Okay Hack and Slay hold but not reallly a challenge. However there are many things in the hold that are annoying !

"Here are 100 orbs find the correct one !"
"Here are 800 brains ! Kill them !"
"Here are 20 empty room"
Not knowing where entrance and exit of rooms are
Empty scrolls (Ok, mabye its a bug of my download)

Also I dont really get the storyline with the Goblin Kingdom. It wents under...

I've notice many things wronge with my on hold after I downloaded it. The find orb thing seemed like a good Idea at first but then turned evil on me. But there is more to the game that meets the eye. There are more easter eggs in the game then the two that jump at you. In the sequel, I'm going to trash the other storyline and bring out a toatally diffrent character and storyline...oh yeah, it's going to be 27 levels long(a whole hell lot longer then this). And the scrolls are full of stuff to read on my copy.

Cool ! Sorry if I was offensive. The orb thing is good (but not so often) and I maybe was just to dumb to read the written things on the 20 empty rooms. Funny ! :)

... I...uh..would start from scratch again, yes.

That's probably the best option.

Okay, let me put this a bit more in detail.

Level 10 was dumb. I can't put this in nicer terms, nor do I want to.

Anything involving the Which Orb Does It sort of room should be legal reason for homicide.

Yes. Spiders are invisible. We know that spiders are invisible, and a room is automatically difficult the /first time/ if you put spiders in it. Stop it.

Please stop putting empty rooms beside each other by the dozen. Please.

.....and if you're going to make a 27 level hold, for god's sakes, more than half of the rooms should have something in them.

There are two things I find wrong with that statement....

1. spiders are not invisable. they are light blue and they blend in with the floor of palace levels.

2. complaining about difficulty of game play and saying it's to hard is like crying that a stain in your white T-shirt won't come out while you have a bottle of bleech in your hand. In other words the game is suppoesed to be hard. That's what makes games fun.

Spiders in AE (old version of DROD) were indeed light-blue, but in JtRH (newer version of DROD), spiders are invisible on every tileset and can be only seen when they move or when Beethro is close to them.

You might want to download the JtRH demo here because it sounds like you've not tried it yet.

Not quite. The game is supposed to be fun. The difficulty should stem from that, not the other way around.
