Please. Save us all from the anguish of coding something brilliant and losing it to a misplaced right click. And if people really hate the option, give a little checkbox that says 'Warn upon deleting characters' that those crazy folk can click.

Or don't. BUT!

Why not just undo the deletion?

Can you undo deleting long monsters?

Yes. Which is probably an argument for removing the silly confirmation box for long monster deletion :)

Hmm, actually, I think Mike said that it was a bug that it's not possible to Undo a character deletion right now for some reason, and that will be fixed in 2.0.8. I thought there was a post about it earlier today...

Game on,

It seems to work perfectly for me.

I think what he mentioned was that character rotations didn't get added to the undo list. Is this what you were thinking of?

Yes, what Adam linked is what I was referring to. I thought that it had deeper ramifications...that anything you did with a character couldn't be undone. Obviously testing would have saved me the embarrassment...

Because if I'm deleting a ton of things at once, I might not notice until it's too late. And the long monster thing is kinda helpful. Just offer the option to turn the warnings off, and bang, they irritate people less.

I think I'll remove the long monster deletion confirmation. It seems completely worthless with infinite undo and annoying, to boot. (Heh, looking in the code, I notice delete confirmations for orbs, scrolls, and one other thing I can't remember now are still implemented, but they've all been deactivated because they were annoying. Gotta clean that up.)
