I noticed that Erik changed is avatar. Obviously it is one that he created himself. Erik sure has a talent for art... that is one reason that I like DROD so much. Great art work, Erik.

I voted for the worm thingy. I was really surprised to find the entire picture from which the avatar was taken in the Dreamplane. I had no idea that there was a worm behind that head. In my mind, I had penciled in a more humanoid body.

But I wonder how much of the vote will be backlash against change...

Actually, I have to admit I didn't like the goo monster avatar... it was pretty ugly as monsters go, which was probably intentional, but nevertheless. Feel free to throw sharp and/or heavy objects on me now. The new avatar is kinda nice. It reminds me of the "Beethro of the New Millenium" as seen in the evolution promotional of the demo, the one with the cell phone.

Yes, I think so. Schik pointed out to me privately that Erik had another avatar between those two, a man with sunglasses, which I don't really remember at all. The one I'm thinking of is one Erik drew himself, similar to the two this thread is about.

Interesting. Although I don't find his current avatar to be ugly per se, I do find the yellow background color in it a bit harsh on my eyes.

I actually relate the most to the previous avatar which is from a picture called "Leader of Men", but I have to change the avatar every once in a while.

Here's the full pic, which I'm sure some people saw in one other place. Hey, let's put some happy Creative Commons licensing on it.
