The point of Tiny Hold is simple: Build puzzles that only take up 8x8 squares. This is harder than it sounds.

Unfortunatly, Tiny Hold is rather, well, tiny. I can only think of a few puzzles that can be squeezed into such a small space, and some of the puzzles still take up more than 8x8 squares.

Perhaps someone with actual hold building talent can so a better version of Tiny Hold.

What? Difficult to think of??? I liked the contest idea so much that I created today 4 checkerboard rooms :)

Ok. Here are my few 8x8 rooms. They are all separate levels and include Beethro and ending stairs within the 8x8 area. There's 5 rooms and a level selection screen.

I can't even solve Dooms 4th checkerboard :(
I am very impressed. I'll keep trying..
(even number 2 took me quite a while!)

Is room 1N1E with the red gate and four trapdoors behind two tar blobs possible? (This is in Tiny Hold, not is Doom's Checkerboards.)

I've completed three (four?) other rooms and, while I can see other areas to play, I cannot get to them without finishing this room. :unsure

I really need some hints on solving the room with 3 goblins (and some queens) in the Tiny Hold (not dooms).

And I find the 5th checkerboard room in Doom's hold was cool. Is it cheap? Hey Doom, maybe we should do more rooms like these... ;)

Presumably you are referring to the second section of 2N, possibly the trickiest part of the hold. There follows a specific method to get the first goblin and a hint towards finishing off:

Thanks! I've got it! But now I'm stuck in the room with 5 goblins (the last room)...

I guess I really need to play that goblin level in KDD (which I've always been able to skip...)
