You tip your hat to nothing in particular and proceed toward the light at the end of the tunnel. When you finally reach the light, you see that it's nothing more than an old, naked, flickering lightbulb suspended fom the ceiling by its cord. The cord looks very old and is held together in more than one place by electrical tape.
All of the sudden, the light goes out. Luckily, you're not plunged into total darkness; instead, you're plunged into a dimness that will probably cause you to strain your eyes if you aren't careful.
