I went away from my computer for a bit, then came back and posted the bugs I had just found. Decided to play DROD a bit more and now it won't start. Every time I open the game a dialogue box pops up entitled "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" with this message:

"Runtime Error!

Program: Crogram FilesDROD1.6drod.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Any ideas? I hadn't changed anything at all in terms of settings, done nothing to the actual machine. I don't want to re-install because my player and hold aren't exported (I know, bad of me) and don't want to lose them. If it helps, I am running Windows XP Professional.

Edit: Hmm, seems like the board won't allow me to put backslashes when I copy out the path. I do get them in my message though.

Ok, I think I know what the problem is - my drod1_6.dat file is now 0 bytes in size. How that happened I have no idea. Does this mean I've lost everything?

Yeah, we need to know how to reproduce this in order to fix it. It might be very difficult to recreate the same situation.

Krammer, I'm sorry, but your data is lost. You should reinstall, but hang on a bit and build 20 will be up there.
