The edtior page says that during playtesting (by pressing F5), checkpoints are disabled - but they aren't.

Yes, they should be disabled. The fix will be included in build 20.

Question: Will it be possible to turn it into an option? Not a big deal, but when I was designing the rooms with lots of roach queens in them, it was useful for me to use the checkpoints - just placing beethro there and starting to test wasn't the same effect as all the spawned roaches were gone - I needed the checkpoints to see how many queens I can include before it becomes unsolvable.

On the other hand, checkpoints can get in the way of testing other stuff, so allowing the builder to control whether they're activated or not seems like a useful option to me.

Sure, that makes sense. Might as well just leave it on then, but then checkpoint saves for the room would have to be deleted at the end of a playtesting session. Otherwise, they would be accessable afterwards from the normal game as well. Well, which maybe isn't that big of a deal. Maybe Erik can make a wise decision.
