Here's what I'm thinking about this room:

1. I have to completely destroy one type of tarstuff and its babies to get to the south of the room. Therefore, I can only use two types of tarstuff in the south of the room.
2. I have to use some tarstuff babies to get the lemmings out of their starting 3*3 loops.
3. The SW section requires me to send in two lemmings to get the SW eye killed.
4. I need both central plates pressed at the same time to kill the south middle eye.
5. The only thing that can hold the south plate is a lemming.
6. Having a lemming on the south plate at the same time as Beethro is on the north plate forces me to kill the lemming when I kill the eye.
7. Attempting to have Beethro on the south plate at the same time as a tarstuff baby is on the north plate fails, because there's not enough space to shoot south, step north, and shoot north.
8. I need a lemming on the north plate at the same time as as Beethro is on the south plate.
Unless I'm thinking about this incorrectly, or missing something else I can do in the room, I somehow need to do the thing listed in point #8. However, I've tried and tried and I just cannot see how get that setup to work. Getting any tarstuff baby, even a sticky gel baby, to block the lemming and get it where it needs to be is very hard.
However, all of my attempts have been one lemming attempts, with the other lemming first being sacrificed to the southwest widget. Having two loose lemmings running around at the same time seems quite messy and hard to pull off. If I do need two loose lemmings, I'd like some pointers on how to corral them.
