Ah! Excellent! That's the kind of good sportsmanship that I'm looking for. Kudos, Red Hawk. Now for the second challenge:

This will be a scavenger hunt. The winning tribe will be the one that can post links to images containing these items:

1. A giant roach
2. An evil eye
3. A green goblin
4. A transparent spider
5. A red serpent
6. A red door
7. A blue door
8. A yellow door
9. A green door
10. A yellow orb
11. An invisibility potion
12. Blue tar
13. A crumbly wall
14. Level 13
15. A chubby man with a sword

No images can come from drod.net or even be related to DROD. No image can be used to satisfy more than one requirement at once. Each player can post at most 4 links. This is so it requires more than a single player for a tribe to win.

No links can be duplicated. If the other tribe has one image and you post the same image later, it will be disregarded.

The first tribe to post links to all 15 items will win immunity and avoid going to Tribal Council. Good luck, everybody.

This is still very unfair.

No-one is given any notice about when a challenge goes up, so it means two things:

1. A tribe that has several players online at the time of challenge posting has a distinct advantage over a tribe that doesn't have any (Just like hiding walls under tar - if you're just lucky, you'll find the correct path. If not, you're likely to have to do it all over again).

2. You are required to be online as much as is possible in order to try not to miss a challenge, which is unfair for people who do not spend much time on the forums, or who check usually only at particular times of the day.

Please, next time give some advance notice before putting up a challenge.

Edit: I agree that it is pretty unfair to post the challenge without any notice of when it is going to happen (at least when it is crucial that the participants reply fast). It would be a good idea to put all challenges inside unhidetime-tags...

Okay, I apologize for the unfairness of this challenge. I was a little hasty in its creation. I will certainly use the timed tags from here on out when announcing challenges. That's a great idea that I had totally overlooked. Thanks, whoever it was that mentioned it.

As far as it being unfair in regards to the game favoring those who are on the board more often, I see where you're coming from, but I don't happen to agree. The way I see it, people who are on the board longer will naturally be stronger at this game, such as in the television show, where the challenges often favor the more physically capable. Survivor is versatile in regards to this imbalance because when one player stands out at the "physical threat" on the board (i.e., the one who is always online), the option is always there to vote that player out (perhaps with a small bit of collusion) in order to increase your chances of winning an individual immunity later in the game.

Of course, that's not to say that I love perfectly balanced challenges. Unfortunately, those aren't always simple to come up with. I've got eight more challenges to come up with after this one, so if anybody has any ideas for some that they'd like to share with me, feel free to PM me. Believe me, I'd love it if that happened.

With that out of the way, It's time to judge this challenge.

So the other tribe will now have to PM me their votes. Sorry about this challenge, folks.

Well, that's why this is a team sport - some of us can fill in when others are away. Though I agree with Wesley's sentiment that a warning and a lead-in time would make the game more fair, especially when the teams grow smaller.

I can be here any time during my day. Which is, say, from a few hours ago through to in about 9 hours time, whatever that is in GMT.
