Are you forgetting that you can rotate to change the fegundo's direction? I don't know how familiar you are with them.

If that's not the issue and the trouble is how to get the fegundo onto the plate while you're on the door:

×Note that the bottom row of the chamber where the fegundo starts has extra distance on the right side. Try using that.
