Here is my stats and equipment, seems like i can't do enough damage to most of the monsters in this level and i'm low at HP. I'm missing something???

The Long Sword is not the only major source of stats available.

Yeah, i know about stat shop, but will it help much (and with my money)?

Looks like you bought ATK 3 times in the 2nd shop? Should be able to buy DEF 5 times when reaching the 4nd shop, enough to make the Tar Baby free.

Ah, thanks, i never invested in Defense yet
