Question, is there any time an place, where I can find Volund, Hervor and Heime together outside? Two of them are no problem, but I would like to have all three together at one place outside at the same time.

Naturally, just wondering if someone might know. If I thin about it, it seems unlikely. Heime and Hervor sometimes seem to go meet at the city gates and definitely seem to come out together in the morning, but Volund is the problem, AFAIK, he leaves home before his family and comes back after and he hangs out in the smithy, guild or the bar.

Hmm... I think I saw all three inside the guild one time. However, they didn't leave simultaneously. But, it seems to me that if I rest while someone is around, they are leaving only after I finish my rest, if I rest repeatedly, could I trigger all of them leaving simultaneously?

And are the NPC schedules fixed or is there an element of randomness?

Yes, that would probably work.

There's no randomness involved. Some in-game events change some of the schedules.
