Noticed that in the latest OS X build some listbox entries don't show any text, for example in the restore screen or the demo screen. Reopening a screen might result in different entries being empty. The entries are still selectable and function as expected, so this seems like a rendering issue.

I'm going to try and see if I can fix this.

Thank you for noting and fixing this issue!

I've been thinking about the root cause here, because I never saw this happen before on Mac.

I'm wondering whether there's a change in compiler behavior since the version I used. Previously, it's possible that the records were having their trailing records implicitly auto-filled with zeros. Now, like you say, they're uninitialized (a performance optimization). If that's the case, makes sense in hindsight.
