Hmm.. hard to give progressive hints for this, but here's a decent start:

×Start above the west potion, sword facing S.
Grab the west potion, place the mimic to kill the NW-most guard.
Move east to the east potion, place this mimic to kill the westmost guard.
Turn to SE (mimics will kill two guards)
Move NW (one mimic will kill a guard and step on a checkpoint.)
It's possible to move around the remaining guards via the west side, which will give you more space to work with. It's still non-trivial though, so you'll probably need to restore back to that checkpoint a bit.
