Hi. I'm attempting to build DROD from source and I almost got it to work. Now when I try to run the compiled exe I get an error saying "DROD couldn't find certain files that it needs." I have pretty much copied the entire Data folder from my Steam installation of GatEB into the same directory as the exe. Can anyone offer some help?

Things to try in order:

1. Make sure the Data folder is in the directory with the exe, not the contents of in.
2. Make sure all the content is in the data folder again to be sure
3. Make sure you have the .dll files from the Steam directory copied into the exe directory.

If none of those steps work, post again so more research can be conducted.

It might be worth checking your virus scanner/firewall etc. I had the error below and it turned out to be blocked by my virus scanner or firewall.

The directory looks like that. Also running as administrator doesn't work either.

EDIT: It worked when I installed the TSS demo and copied the Data folder from there. Thanks anyway.
