×When you're at the east-pointing arrow at (16,7), point your sword straight down/south, and step down/right (southeast).

×Then step south, and kill the first eye that's coming up at you. Rotate your sword 180 degrees to kill the other eye coming down at you. From there, the room should be straightforward.
