OK, I'm on 4 levels at the moment all of which I'm finding impossible, but there's one in particular, Welcome To Our City, which I just cannot do:

I've tried almost everything I can think of but nowt seems to work. No doubt I've missed something simple but I can't for the life of me think what.

It's a relatively simple idea, but you have to execute it.

I am stuck on several rooms but the one that I have spent the most time on and can't work any of it out is the ships kitchen. Since the big fish has to move right 1 square before it can do anything else the table will fall. I assume the small fish has to find some way to lift the table up but I can't see how.

Hah, that's a fun room. Getting the big fish out is only the first half, but here's some hints for that part:

I just finished the level Cancan Crabs. That is a beautiful level. I'm amazed by how intricate the design is and how specific the solution was required to be. I'm going to go about the rest of my day feeling EXTREMELY accomplished.

Yeah, Cancan crabs was a brilliant level. I haven't played the game in a while now (with 2 or 3 levels left in each strand) but that was one that had me puzzled for a very long time, and the solution was beautiful.

Hehe, wait until you get to later levels...solve those without help and you will really feel good about yourself.

Actually, Cancan Crabs does have a few spots where you can do things in different ways...I never used the manta ray at all (I pushed him to the side) but he can definitely be used in the solution (and perhaps that is a better method than mine).

Exactly...I realized that it was the last three pieces that I wasn't accounting for, so I worked out on a piece of paper how they had to go and then everything fell into place, pretty much.

I think Mike is thinking of the Picnic Boat level, which is very similar in design (and comes much earlier, which makes sense since he just started the game).

Man, that game is addictive and scarily difficult. I'm on the final level in 5 of the 8 threads. I don't count myself stuck on Biological Experiments (yet, as I just finished Guarded Corridor a few hours ago. took days).
But I seem to be majorly stuck on Second Mate's Cabin (wtf? everything I do blocks something forever), and Emulator (way early in the computer thread - I can't seem to get the top of the rocket out (without wasting two of the tall pieces I need to make the central tower)

I'm quite near the end of every thread myself, but I haven't really tried too hard to solve any of the last ones. The non-final ones I'm currently stuck on are Captain's Cabin and Favorites.

This isn't so much a request for help but more me bragging about my progress.

I'm back from a trip out of town if you need more help, silver...I have my solutions all written down.

The same goes for you too, RoboBob...those are two of the tougher levels in the game for sure. In fact, there was a bug in Favorites for me where if I saved the game after I left the low-res section, it made the fish disappear completely. This affected the watching of the solution too... :(

Game on,
