For the most part, this is just optimising a DEF route... but the last level requires some trickery to gain the three blue keys required to win.

Just to clarify, do you mean 120 ATK including weapons or are we allowed to reach 120 ATK + weapon increase? That would mean a maximum of 340.

Total ATK, including weapon, must never be above 120. That means you can never pick up the Hook (+120), Wyrmsmiter (+120) or RBS (+220), since you start with 10 ATK.

By the way, even though it's an easier challenge (similar to this one), I'd still like to propose it.

C h a l l e n g e !
  Kill the slayer by using only the altar in Goblin Tribe and by taking only DEF upgrade. Plus, your ATK base stats must not be greater than 120

Presumably you're still allowing two ATK upgrades from the Goblin Tribe machine. As far as I know, that's mandatory to complete the level in any type of run.

Well, no it's not!

There's a way to complete Goblin Tribe without any ATK upgrade!

That's exactly what I did, nice stats! :thumbsup

In my run I used the altar many times before taking the lucky blade so I couldn't use it a lot, but there's still a lot of leeway for this challenge. Here's my stats instead.

The maximum possible DEF is 729, but it's attained by getting two ATK upgrades from Goblin Tribe, so as to save more uses for the final Machine (and making it possible, in the endgame, to have enough ATK to get the Oremite Shield). On a DEF-only route you have to get more upgrades earlier, for the reason I outlined in my last spoiler.
