Hello, I'm back to make another hold.

I've made medium difficulty holds so this time I'm aiming for the 8-9 brain level in difficulty for this hold.

This hold will have a story unlike my other holds, but that will be the last thing I add.

This is very much the first draft of this level, I've yet to detail it and I've done very little testing, only enough to make sure its possible.

I'm not sure how lenient the level is, even though I hope for the 8-9 difficulty scale I do want the level to be open ended enough that there are actual choices.

Because of how little testing and balancing I've done there are bound to be some very poor choices no one would ever take, please point these out to me so that I can fix them.

I expect somewhere between 4 and 6 levels.

I'm using a custom weapon in place of the wooden sword because the next level will use oremites and I wan't to use the wooden sword in that level, before upgrading to the short sword of course.

Update 1: I added more hp to the level, changed a few choices involving greckle gates, and added better stuff behind two of the rumblers.

Well, I barely managed to get through with 30 ATK/DEF, leaving me with 30 HP after killing the Spirit. The 450 that's behind it gives me the opportunity to get the blue key. I did not kill the Rumbler in 3N, or the one in 2N1W (the latter seems a no-brainer, unless there's more use for yellow keys in later Levels. I have 4 yellow keys left at the end). Also, the only relevant greckle gate is the one in 1E. The others are always the preferable route over losing HP. I have 95 GR at the end.

Thanks for the feedback, I've updated the hold to try and make some of those choices more relevant, I also added a bit more health to the level so that its lenient enough that you can probably take those choices.

Nice level, it's a lot easier than the other one (A matter of soul), but that's not a bad thing :thumbsup

I always have greckles to spare, and the items behind them are very good. There are a lot of big potions in the level.

I've replayed this 2 times, the first I used the green key at 2N. It was a poor choice.
The second time I used it at 1N 2E. The only way to go in and reach the upper area of 2N 2E and get the two gems of attack, which greatly reduces the damage of monsters.

What's the blue key for, needed for the second level?.

And finally, about difficult, this was medium-hard.

There will be blue doors in the hold, not to block progression but in choices, there just weren't any in the first level.

There will probably be a few more blue doors than keys.

I'm surprised other players are bothering with the DEF behind a rumbler. My final stats are 1111/30/28. I only picked up one green key and didn't use it.
