I'm playing through as a sorceress. When I talk to Arngrim he wants 3 stories, but I only have 2 real ones to tell. I believe one of the stories should be about defeating the haugbui, but it's not listed and he won't believe fake ones. I've defeated it and got the reward from the wizard, but it's just not showing on the stories list. Is there some other story as a sorceress I can tell him?

You should have options for the following:

- Travels through Svartalfheim
- Thieves' Lodge
- Thrivaldi
- Haugbui
- Liff and Lithrasir

Depends on what quests you have done/what encounters you have come across though.

I have the thieves lodge (which I did) and Svartalfheim (I have rescued Heime) along with 3 fake ones showing. Missing the haugbui which I did (already used the potion to free Alviss). I haven't helped Liff and Lithrasir yet. How do I get the Thrivaldi one?

I don't actually know off the top of my head. Perhaps an encounter with him (e.g. willow bark)? Or try to get your things back?
