I can't figure this out. Going to do the assumptions thing, I think.

×1. To get through the upper-left section, I have to use the northern arrow because of the yellow door in the middle. In order to leave, I need a total of one counterclockwise rotation.
2. Similarly, to get through the lower-right section, I have to use the southern arrow, and in order to leave I need a total of one clockwise rotation.
3. To get through the upper-right section, or even enter it, I need a total of either two clockwise or two counter-clockwise rotations.
This leads me to my problem. I can rotate the arrows clockwise or counter-clockwise and get through either the northwest or southeast section. But then I can't get to the other unless I use rotate the arrows twice in the other direction, and if I do that I can't get into the northeast.
So what am I missing here?

One of those assumptions is false.

×Spend some time thinking about assumption #1. That yellow door in the middle is deceptive. What do you
actually need to do to open it?

×You can go through that upper left loop counterclockwise (in through the southern end and out through the northern end) in spite of the yellow door. Just go in from the north first and trip the pressure plate, then exit back the way you came. You can now hit the orb and go through the loop south to north.
