Upon trying to launch DROD 5 (gog.com version, 1.0.0.1) on Ubuntu 14.04, I get this error:

X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 12 (X_ConfigureWindow)

The error started occuring today, after a system restart, before that everything worked fine. I assume the last system update took effect. Here is a list of packages updated a few days ago, from /var/log/apt/history.log:

Thanks for the bug report! I'm unable to reproduce it though, so I'll need some more information.

First, do you have the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of Ubuntu?

Also, DROD logs errors to a file called drod.err. It should be in "~/.local/share/Caravel Games/drod-5_0/drod.err". If that exists, it'd be great if you could post the contents.

Also, have you tried the "regular" non-GOG version from the downloads page here? Does that work? (If you don't have TSS tied to your forum account here, you can ask support@caravelgames.com to fix that for you. Include the receipt from GOG)
