Heh. One of my friends only listens to both kinds of music: Country and Western...

(And I've been putting together procrastinating a mix CD of "other" stuff for him, like, forever... )

Animal Collective's new record, Merriweather Post Pavilion, came out Tuesday.

There is really no way to describe then other than a band that sounds nothing like any other band you have ever heard. No, seriously.
