If you can block them with a keg you're halfway to the solution. You don't have much time to set things up before the door opens, but you do have enough time to get a keg in place to explode.

×Note that there are three roaches on each side, so that you can let three out at a time. A powder keg on the spike traps along the top and bottom of the room will also conveniently explode on exactly three tiles that the roaches could potentially be maneuvered on. I had a keg to block set up first, then pushed a keg onto the spikes just after the yellow door opened. That gives you too much time before the spike traps go off again, so that's why you need to set up the other keg to block. Next secret tags for full spoiler.

×Push the bottom keg to (7,14)then the top keg onto the top spike traps (it should get there just after the door opens.) The wait behind the keg on (7,14) until about three turns before the spikes go off. Then go NW and back off to lure the roaches into the explosion. The bottom keg should be straightforward from here and is just a matter of timing things right.
