It's possible to use the Build Command to create multi-use pressure plate. The resulting pressure plate is entirely non-functional, and will not react to being stepped on.

Additionally, a Build Marker for a multi-use pressure plate does not create a visible marker. The plate will still be build by citizens and engineers, to the same effect as directly Building it.


On a related note, Orbs can also be built, however they do react to being hit with a weapon.

Edit: This happening in the current 5.0.1.6002 version.

Building pressure plates has been disabled for 5.0.2 and it will beep if you attempt to do it.

The reason is that building pressure plates has potential (especially if we also had an option to link plates/orbs with doors/arrows) but it's a lot of work to figure out how to handle all of the edge cases and a lot of time to code it.

Thus this will be implemented after 5.0.2.
