I think you're definitely underestimating the difficulty of this hold, especially the two serpent rooms (the two tar rooms are relatively easy). 1W could really use a checkpoint - it's annoying to kill 3 serpents and then die by mistake and have to restart.

I don't agree fully - 1W is quite easy since the central orb toggles the chamber doors, and serpents tend to like clockwise movement.

The room in question is 2S 1W, which I would guess has accidentally been made "required".

Got to agree with Eytanz about the checkpoint in 1W. Agaricus might think that room is particularly easy, but it took me 40 minutes to kill the first 4 snakes. Led the last one to it's death, 'cept I hit the orb at the wrong time and had to hit "R". 'Scuse me while I go sulk. :weep

Edit: Heh, second time around it took me about 3 minutes, but it was more luck than judgement.

Lack of betatesting. I'm really sorry about that. The blue door was because of a "secret" room I added and forgot to uncheck the "required" thing. Again, it should have been tested more.
