We already have floor spikes, but I feel there is something amiss. I believe we need wall spikes. Wall Spikes are similar to floor spikes, but pop out of walls instead. Since they pop out of walls, they can penetrate flying monsters, such as Wraithwings.

I'd expect it's too late to implement new things for TSS, since it already has been released... So I guess I'll wait until 2016 for the new chronicle.

Here's a quick (kinda noobish) way to script it. Since I have absolutely no experience with the full extent of the TSS scripting systems, I just created two custom characters (one sworded, one unsworded) and set it to change appearance whenever an entity steps in front of it.

(should be polished, and with better custom character tiles, but I'd say this'll work pretty decent)

Thanks to the help of Nuntar, who has enlightened me on how to script in relative positions of monsters, I've made a new script. There are four different scripts, for all cardinal directions.

Main advantage is that you can now simply copypaste wall spikes witgout having to modify their scripts every time.
