I have a crash when verifying demos in my player file from a 4.0 player. I can provide a saves file by email upon request.

Hi,

Yes, please send me an e-mail with everything I need to reproduce this on my end. If it's just a saves file that can reproduce it, that's fine. If it only happens with your full player profile, I would need that file. It would likely be helpful to know which holds you have installed and are importing saved data for. Ideally, I'd like to know which hold this is issue is happening on. Anything you can provide on this front would be useful.

I’ve got a .player file that does this, too, but I don’t have your email address. Could you PM/email it to me? (Unless someone sends you their saves first.)

Thanks for the player file! I'm not able to reproduce this. Does this happen with the newest 5.0.1 beta patch? It's probably already fixed.

I installed the (non-patched 5.0.0) Windows version using Wine, and indeed I couldn’t reproduce this bug. It looks like the crash only happens in the Linux version; and I cannot see if it was fixed because there’s no 5.0.1 patch for Linux.

Yes . Not sure when it was fixed, but i could reproduce it in the unpatched version (Mike gave me a link to your file), and it works in the latest one. The new Linux installer will be up later today.
