My solution (modeled after gamer_extreme_101 on twitch, I confess) was to use the leftmost lemming to hold down the bent-tail lemming at the left corner: thatg buys you an extra couple of moves to go and free the right lemming.

×It actually doesn't matter how spaced out they are. This room has a completely different mechanic for solving it than the previous one. What can you do with that bent tail lemming?

×You'll need to use the bent tail lemming to hold the pressure plate down while moving horizontally back and fourth. You don't need to release him first, you can get a couple of straight lemmings off first while he's still spinning around. But make sure you catch up to him when he gets to the PP, then have him moving east to west and back along the pressure plate while you go around releasing the other lemmings. You'll need to be quick in order to get to him in time to turn him around. If you need more you can always watch the two "Let's Play" videos for this level:
