×You need to get rid of his warding spell otherwise any of your attacks is useless. Find a good time to remove it.

×I walk in, and he creates the ward. Then, he casts the ice spell (If I cast Disrupt then, he freezes me), so I cast Flame Aura to stun him. If I cast Disrupt then, he kills me. I cast Shadow to get into the corner, and he attacks the shadow. At that point, any spell I cast, Disrupt or anything else, will kill me. What am I doing wrong?

×Flame aura tends to piss him off and make him cast his big spell of doom. Try to go through the cycle of spells he does (that is, don't stun him straight away and use a different spell which counters his ice lance).
