It may feel like it's never open, but I can assure you it's often open. Try it at various times of day. Unless you're trying for a fast time, there's no harm in just resting for an hour over and over again all day, if you really want the shovel.

Yeah, Sigrun does have very odd opening hours. Watching NPCs keep to a certain schedule gave me Harvest Moon flashbacks, and I'm very tempted to compile a guide of the NPC's whereabouts. ^^; I spent so much time running around yelling "WHERE ARE YOU?!" at the NPC I was looking for.

Sigrun is really terrible, I spent so much time waiting for her to enter her shop.. maybe in version 1.1, she can at least enter her shop when you talk to her in front of it, wanting to buy something?

No, that's not simple to code, and the moment something like that is implemented, it opens up the door to a bunch of extra possible bugs.

She's open for nearly half a day, every day... just not in the morning.

Nope. Don't give us everything on a silver platter.

(As a side note, i just completed new Tomb Raider and i can tell you i had greater satisfaction by completing Heroine's Quest)
